Stevenage Supporters Assoc 2 vs 0 Leyton Orient

A Ricky Dutton brace sealed a 2-0 win at a wet Valley 3G pitch in a game which the SSAFC seemed to not get out of second gear for.

The SSAFC started slowly but soon got into the swing of things when good play from Devall on the right fed McKechnie on the wing who got to the byline and his cross in found an unmarked Dutton who cooly slotted home to make it 1-0, A very good team goal and one which the SSAFC deserve. The SSAFC wasted chance after chance with a lack of a cutting edge in the final third but it didnt cost the SSAFC as Dutton got his second when good play in the midfield gave Dutton time and he cut inside before hitting a shot which took a deflection off an Orient defender and found the net. 2-0!

The game was an ugly game at best with both sides not creating much, Swales missing a good chance and McKechnie missing from close range. Minnock then had an effort go tamely to the keeper but the SSAFC done enough to pick up the win.
