Lovely day and a more realistic opposition. Nice to see Murray and Nuttall on the line cheering us on.

By far the better side in the first half but passing a bit heavy and finishing not up to scratch. Sucker punch on 35 mins as centre halves dragged out of position and a coolly taken goal just inside the box. 1-0 down at half time, but no concern.

Very little to worry the back 4 and good handling from Rigsby all day, it was only a matter of time.

Better passing and movement and Gary Buck put away a good goal from inside the box. Ten minutes later, Rob Dean through and delightful chip over advancing keeper

A Mobberley rally for 15 minutes had us slightly on the back foot, but a great Dean cross was met by Buck who powerfully headed home to give us a cushion.

Last ten seen out without incident.

A good all round performance, built on steady defending, the industry of Taylor and Macca, with the added bonus of two guys up front who made good runs and asked some good questions.

Manager delighted with that.
