St Michaels went into this game hoping to avenge their opening day defeat at the hands of a very physical Foots Cray Lions side. The game was quite even and it was not until the 28th minute when Foots Cray opened the scoring with a goal that was well offside but missed by the Linesman. No further score in the first half which ended 1 – 0.
The 2nd half continued as the 1st with Tom Pexton being booked after 50 minutes and 9 minutes later a good header from Sam Meade saw Danny Baptiste latch onto and score the equaliser. On 67 minutes Dan Regan replaced Jack Jolly and after 72 minutes Rob Tarrant came on for Danny Baptiste to make his debut. With 8 minutes left Ryan Nibbs received a yellow card. The game finished at 1 – 1.
A good battling display by St Michaels especially in midfield with good performances from Tom Pexton and Ryan Nibbs. Man of the match however goes to Harry Graham with a superb game in the St Michaels goal.
