Sparkhill United suffered a bad defeat at the hands of champions Saltley Stallions, Sparkhill started the game slowly and were soon down 3-0, mainly as a result of losing 4 keepers in the build up to the match and Saltley taking advantage as usual through set pieces, meaning midfielder Sadam Hussain had to line up in goal. Sparkhill controlled the match hereafter but left themselves a mountain to climb and were unable to do so.
The MOM on the day was Tariq Rashid for an all action performance.
Sparkhill need to win the next five games to be assured of league title success.
