Churchdown Panthers Youth 3 vs 3 Southside Star Youth U10 W

Well we’re all a bit bruised and battered after that game ! But we have some good news that Charlton rovers lost so we’re top with a game in hand ! Frustrating game today with Joe and Jack coming off early we were up against it ! Churchdown scored two early goals and our heads did drop a little ! But as we do, we came back into the game, Joe scored with a through ball from Harry to put us back in it !

The game was quite scrappy due to rain and rash challenges from Churchdown we were unable to play our slick football ?? ! 2nd half I think Churchdown scored again to make it 3-1, we started to press and Ben D crossed for Reck to make it 3-2 ! Still pushing and not long to go Ruben opened his body up and struck a right foot shot past the keeper ! Still fighting we were unable to secure all 3 points ! But in not nice conditions with a nervy ref and heavy tackles we did well to come from 3-1 behind to take a point so we’ll done all ! Well done to Harry for his man of the match performance! ????????????
