Southside Star Youth U10 W 6 vs 3 Churchdown Panthers Whites

Another good game today for the Wildcats ! Not sure whether it was 5-3 or 6-3 ??? First half we were dominating the play, all and around the 15 minute mark Luke took a fierce shot which deflected off the defender to put us 1-0 up ! Shortly after Ben unleashed a right foot shot and gave the keeper no chance, we were cruising and Churchdown barely had a sniff of goal, defending was very sharp today and did their job well ! Not to be outdone Harry released a similar shot to the earlier goal which again the keeper was never getting to it ! 3-0 half time. Second half the panthers came out fighting and scored 2 early goals and they had some momentum, a third came halfway into the second half and it suddenly got a bit nervy !! Harry settled the nerves and slotted the ball home !joe then sealed the deal with great pressing from the guys up front to tuck a wide shot into the net ! I thought all the boys did very well today and they were lots of ticks on the notepad ! Well done all and well done to Harry for man of the match ! ????????
