Southside Star Youth U10 W 6 vs 5 Bishops Cleeve Colts Youth

Welcome to the league !! Well I hope everyone’s blood pressure and heart rate have returned to normal! Good game to watch for the neutral but my god nail biting stuff ! We started well and came straight out of the blocks, ben D started the scoring with a free kick Joe then Ruben made it 3-0 ! Bishops Cleeve came back into to game and caught us napping at the back and made it 3-1 then shortly after there was a bit of confusion in defence and BC scored an indirect free kick which made it 3-2 at the break ! Second half we went out the looking for a 4th and Jack scored to make it 4-2, a minute later BC scored again (4-3) , but Jack again put the ball in the net !! 5-3 ! Still pressing and Southside not quite clearing their lines BC scored 5-4, Joe scored with 14 minutes to go to ease the nerves ! BC got another but we hung on and thanks to some good defending we cling on to a vital victory and 3 points ! We we were definitely not at our very best today but the effort was there and we too the win ! Well done today but more stuff to work on this Thursday !
