South City FC lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation with J. Mata in goal, Richard Kennedy and Malachi as fullbacks, Faby and Jackson in central defense, Edwin Meoli and Aleki holding midfield, Mikey as the playmaker, Ian Tobiko and Amos Kimeli on the wings, and Rodney leading the attack.
The first half was tough for South City. ICCK Eagles opened the scoring with a sharp team move that cut through the defense, then doubled their lead with a brilliant 25-yard free-kick. South City went into halftime trailing 2–0.
In the second half, Peter Nyingi replaced Amos Kimeli and immediately added energy. South City pushed forward and earned a penalty when Rodney was fouled in the box. Jackson stepped up and calmly converted to make it 2–1. Later, Sam Murkomen came on for Ian Tobiko as South City continued to dominate.
The equalizer came from a flowing team move: Mikey provided the assist and Nyingi finished clinically to level the score at 2–2.
South City controlled much of the second half, showing resilience and fighting spirit to come back from two goals down.
