shannon town under 14s A t 4 vs 1 Tulla United U14A

This was Shannon Town U14A team second league match of the season against Tulla United played in a good and competitive style and manner. Both teams played very good and well worked football throughout which made for an entertaining match. The match was a draw at half time the score 1-1.

A great strike lifting over the keeper into the top area of the net put Tulla 1-0 about 10mins into the game. Shannon got their goal after another 10mins with an excellent free kick struck lovely by Craig Riordan scoring two free kicks in the last two matches.

Shannon Town increased the intensity in the second half and had most of the possession looking to get in behind the Tulla defense to score. Eventually this did happen with a ball broke to Aaron Kelly who slotted the ball neatly into the corner the Tulla goalkeeper got down well to make the save bit could not keep out the shot. Shannon took the lead 2-1. With 10mins remaining and two goals in succecikn by Charlie Morrison put the game to bed. Shannon Town winning comfortably 4-1 full time.
