Farleigh 0 vs 1 Sanco Vets FC .

For the 2nd game running we had 11 men, but were at a ground were we have never won against a very well organised outfit in farleigh!

Treacle and Arran Leonard were making there debuts and rasem was starting his 2nd game in 3 years, the pitch at farleigh is massive

so we knew we were gonna have to put in a shift to get something out the game. We started brightly knocking the ball around well

and restricting farleigh to hopefull crosses to nobody. We took the lead when gaz played a delightful fizzing ball along the wet ground

Behind there lanky centre back for skillsy to run onto and round the keeper to slot home for us to take a deserved lead.

We started to get a bit sloppy at the back tho and the movement was poor on the giant pitch with everyone coming in narrow + last nights jäger bombs were starting to take there toll on the team.

we almost gifted them an equaliser when we were caught in possession on the edge of our box but sharpy snuffed out the danger just before there striker was about to pull the trigger.

Farleigh changed personnel at h/t and were on the front foot but we were standing firm at the back while trying to counter,

Treacle had a few pot shots at goal while skills hit one from distance that the keeper saved well, farleigh tried to hit us on the break too

but we snuffed out the danger, rasem in particular coming in from right mid to nip in and regain possession for us on numerous occasions. I think farleigh had there first shot on target late in the game but josh had it covered easily and we saw out the game for the 1-0 win and our first at farleigh!
