Roundbush 4 vs 3 Bushey Rangers

Roundbush picked up their first 3 points of the season after a battling 2nd half display. Roundbush took the lead through Dan Nott, who ran through on goal and fired into the bottom corner after collecting a through ball from John Catterson. Roundbush then lost Aaron Lowe after taking an elbow to the face, which knocked his front tooth out. Bushey then drew level when a free kick from distace wasn't dealt with and sailed in the net. Roundbush then went 2-1 behind when Bushey were allowed to collect the ball on the edge of our area and the forward was played through before finishing into the bottom corner. Half time 2-1. At the start of the second half Roundbush made the job seemingly harder when a ball into the box wasn't dealt with and the winger was allowed to side foot home from the edge of the area. Althought 3-1 down Roundbush heads didnt drop and gave themselves a chance when Matt McManus scored after a long ball down field by Joe Edlin wasn't dealt with. Roundbush deservedly drew level when a header by David Flannery wasn't cleared and Liam Wigg scored with a back heel on the line. Roundbush then secured all three points through John Catterson, who picked up the ball wide left, ran past 3 Bushey players and slotted the ball under the Bushey keeper.
