At Brown West Head Park, Wolverley, Roebuck emerged victorious against Kidderminster Athletic with a scoreline of 4-2.

Roebuck lined up in a traditional 4-4-2 formation, designed to balance defensive solidity with attacking flair. Chris Hubball took his place in goal, shielded by a back four comprising Lewis Perry and Callum Billingham as the right and left defenders, respectively, with Kevin Burns and Jack Wentworth occupying the central defensive roles. In midfield, Corey Rogers and Kyle Glaze operated on the right and left flanks, while Dan Lees and Alistair Brown provided central support. Up front, the dynamic duo of Christopher Hunt and Jamie Hyde led the attack, with both expected to exploit any defensive lapses from the opposition.

The substitutes for Roebuck included Michael Woodall, James Beddard, Oliver Parkes, Daniel Lander, and Luke Boden, ready to make an impact as the match unfolded.

The first half saw Roebuck take the lead in the 29th minute when Christopher Hunt found the back of the net with a well-placed left-footed shot, assisted by Corey Rogers from a corner. This early goal set the tone for Roebuck's attacking intent, but as the half drew to a close, Kidderminster Athletic struck back in the 43rd minute, equalising and leaving the match finely poised at half-time.

The second half commenced with Kidderminster Athletic continuing their momentum, scoring again just five minutes in to take a 2-1 lead. This setback prompted a reaction from Roebuck, and in the 51st minute, Jamie Hyde received a yellow card for dissent, a moment that seemed to galvanise the team.

Roebuck responded emphatically in the 56th minute when Hyde converted a penalty won by Chris Hunt being brought down by Athleticโ€™s keeper. This goal reignited Roebuck's hopes and restored parity at 2-2. Shortly after, in the 60th minute, Hyde was substituted off for Michael Woodall, who would soon make his mark on the game.

Just one minutes later, Hunt struck again, scoring a stunning long-range effort with his left foot, assisted by Woodall. This goal put Roebuck ahead 3-2, and the momentum was firmly in their favour.

As the match progressed, Roebuck continued to assert their dominance, with Kevin Burns adding a fourth goal in the 74th minute, again assisted by Woodall, who was proving to be a game-changer since his introduction.

The match was not without its challenges, as Jack Wentworth received a yellow card for a bad tackle in the 72nd minute, a moment that highlighted the physical nature of the contest. In the 76th minute, Roebuck made further substitutions, bringing on Oliver Parkes for Jack Wentworth and Daniel Lander for Corey Rogers, as they looked to maintain their lead

As the game approached its conclusion, Luke Boden replaced Christopher Hunt in the 82nd minute, ensuring fresh legs for the final stages. Despite Kidderminster's attempts to claw back into the match, Roebuck held firm, securing a well-deserved victory.

Christopher Hunt was undoubtedly the standout performer, playing a pivotal role in Roebuck's success with his two goals and an assist, earning him the title of Player of the Match. This victory not only boosts Roebuck's confidence but also sets a positive tone for the remainder of the season.
