Roach Dynamos U12 Green 1 vs 3 Ramsbottom United Juniors

A disappointing result in the last pre-season friendly of the year for Roach Greens. It was a close game but Rammy Tigers got off to a much better start, scoring after 4 minutes. A few subs and some words of advice from the coaches at the drinks break seemed to help and Roach grabbed the equaliser in the 29th minute, when good work from Alex down the left finished with a cross into the box, which took a small deflection but arrived at Callum to finish well with a good volley.

The second half started the same as the first though with Rammy Tigers grabbing a 2nd goal after 5 minutes, then adding a 3rd shortly after. Despite their best efforts, Roach couldn't find another goal.

Man of the match performances from Harvey who showed great composure and a desire to push the team forward, Josh who tackled anything that moved and George who slotted in at left back like he'd played there forever.

Some more hard work from Roach Greens will help turn these close games into wins but today wasn't to be our day.
