Here's a thing. I know it always seems like I'm making excuses or trying to take only the positives, but last night could have been very different.

2-0 down after five minutes to two terrible decisions means the game is out of hands no matter how well we play. The first kick in decision was awful, I (Dave H) was no where near touching it, and slowed down as it went out of play with my arms up so the ref knew it was ours. I can't help him any more than that. The decision? White ball, they break and score.

The second one I didn't see properly but literally no one is even saying it was even close, the ball goes out of play and they play on, break again and score. 2-0. 5 minutes. Literally their only two chances and they're laughing about it. Nightmare.

From then on the whole game is different as we're chasing it for one. People are more nervous on the ball because one more before half time and the match has gone. We go cautious, we take less risks, and it's not even our fault.

No one played badly last night but it would be fair to say none of our outfield players particularly had their shooting boots on. I had one blocked by a slide that we would have been penalised for, I missed another, James missed a couple, Matty had chances, a few final balls went pear-shaped, it just wasn't our night, yet again.

Shit out of luck still we did concede one more before halftime but second half we were good. We put pressure on, Gaz scored a good goal from Matty's pass, and it finished 4-1. Frustrating as for three weeks now we've played well and ultimately got nothing for it.

So Olly man of the match after a series of good saves but no one played badly. Truth is we can't seem to buy a win at the moment. Next week we need to just keep plugging away because if karma's a real thing at some point someone's getting banjoed by the Revs.

Onwards, upwards. Find your rabbit's feet, a couple of four leaf clovers, a horseshoe, all wear the number seven, sleep under a dream catcher and try to find a stripper called Lucky, the Revs needs to catch a break soon.
