Revolutions FC 2 vs 0 Misfits

I am going to keep this succinct and to the point. And this is because looking after a newborn is tiring and the time to write anything in detail is non-existent but if there was time I would rather use it to snooze...

And all this is a shame really considering the performance last night was one of the best, especially this season.

Everyone on the field played their part. James Evans controlled and communicated from the back. Tyman had his best game this season. Beardall was loving the space and the time to thread dangerous balls into the opposition area. David Pinkstone seemed to be every where, harassing and hounding. Myers was superb, his penalty save was world class. And Lewis Evans is having his best 6aside season yet, such a danger man.

There was big tackles, selfless running, some imaginative set plays, great support, top communication and terrific goals with no subs and no rest. Both of the goals courtesy of Lewis Evans.

The Revs even managed to nullify the opposition when down a man when Beardall was sinbinned for a needless handball on the line when it was going over anyway...

Not that it mattered, this is where that Myers penalty stop mentioned earlier comes in...

Chuck all this in with freezing weather and it was enough to warm anyones cockles...

And there you go... bish bash bosh and The Revs are suddenly back in the mix!
