Bayer Neverlosen 6 vs 0 Revolutions FC

This report will be short and sweet and to the point. The Revs were undermanned, out gunned, out played and out fought. Tompkinson was drafted in due to the sheer amount of drop outs and with no substitutes it was always an uphill climb... but the fact of the matter is The Revs just did not play well.

So let's get this over with eh!

Tompkinson, at over 40, played his heart out and was a real pest, but the problem was there was no go forward from the boys and it often broke down in the middle.

Allen was wonderful at the back but at times, with sheer numbers in attack, he was overrun and to be honest could have had more help from his team mates. However, he was the only one who came out of the game with any self respect.

By the time the second half came The Revs had reverted to type and sat either deep with 3 at the back or too high with Evans and Steane up top. There was no middle ground, no grey area, no excuses and no where to hide.

The opposition had a few decent players, but nothing The Revs haven't been able to handle before, but as the goals went in they became more confident and with it more cocky!

The Revs heads dropped and people were flagging fast.

So, there were goals a plenty for the opposition, very few chances for The Revs and it resulted in a very one sided loss.

So let's put it to bed, forget about it and move on.

Although between me and you, I am getting too old for this shit!
