Reigate Hill FC 5 vs 0 Oxted & District

Despite it being bitterly cold and played in heavy snow for most of the match, we done our job well and saw off Oxted. The writing was on the wall for Oxted when they turned up with ten and didn't get going until just before kick off. We started strong and went 2 up in the space of 15 minutes. Paul found Alex Smith who slotted in the first and then 5 minutes later, Josh Carroll broke down the wing and pulled one back for Chris Wigley to tap home. Rest of the half was pretty subdued with us trying too hard and they had their 11th man turn up but the rest of the half was pretty tame. The 2nd half also started off that way but about 65 minutes in Eamonn found Smithy with a throw and he buried it into the top corner. Late on in the game we hit 2 more in quick succession when Gillett found Josh in the middle who finished well and then the cream of the crop when Alex Smith got to the byline and rabona crossed for Gillett who chested the ball in with pure arrogance to make it 5. Solid job, they didn't have a shot on target and everyone put a shift in. Damo got MOTM for one of his best performances in a Reigate shirt over the whole 90.
