Blacksmith Arms 1 vs 4 Reigate Hill FC

In the 2nd of the double headers it was a bit less comfortable for us but we got the job done well in the end. We started strong again with high pressure leading to the defence gifting Paul a goal within 5 minutes. 1-0 at half time and not much going on bar Chris Wigley and a member of the opposition getting into fisticuffs with Rob "The Beast Incarnate" Wigley steaming in and finishing things. A second goal followed after half time when Billy played a great through ball to Smithy who tucked it away. The oppo grabbed one back again and once again it was 2-1 at half time.

A few substitutions didn't allow us to keep a rhythm as the legs got tired following 2 games one after the other and it took until the last 10 minutes to get the game done and dusted. A Wigley corner was in the perfect spot and a defender booted the ball into the side of the net to make it 3-1 and Wigley was fouled not long after and Alex Smith made it 4-1 comfortably. 2 4-1 wins and an excellent performance over the 120 minutes. We now have 2 games against our closest rivals Merstham and Caterham Pumas Legends and with Merstham drawing on Sunday, the title is in our hands. If we win both games, we are champions!
