Real Saturn FC 1 vs 0 Macallum Veterans

RS return to home ground after a postponed match last week due to last min missing train from opponent.

This is the first encounter between RS & Macallum Veterans, RS Coach Mr. xXx have almost fully fit squad albeit from Adrian who is only fit enough to sit on the bench.

RS started the game in their usual 451 formation with Patrick in the striker role, Coach Mr. xXx told press in the pre-match that he want the intensity pressing from Patrick to unsettle Macallum defence.

RS started the game with clear intend, trying to lure Macallum in with some possession, anyhow a week without the match seems like resulted in RS's players not knowing each other even play together for more than 1 years.

Possession turn in to wayward passing, lack of voices on the field frustrated the coach.

RS did mustered out few shot to goal but without much threat throughout first 30 mins, any counter threat from Macallum is sniffed out by skipper SB, Kam & Heng.

Second half, RS playing slightly better amid some fierce team talk from the Coach.

Macallum fouls Kelvin & ref awarded a free kick to RS, a long free kick sent in with pace, Kelvin attacking the ball, Macallum defender who try to challenge result heading the ball backwards, with the keeper is coming out to claim left flat footed, the ball loop & sailed over his head into the empty net. RS leads 1-0.

RS subbed on Michael who graduated from the youth team & Adrian to see out the match.

RS stands firm from the rough challenge & provoke from Macallum to claim the big win.

RS grabbed a win after 3 winless game. In the post match interview, RS coach Mr. xXx admitted the performance is not good overall but a W did raise the spirit of the group. He want to see a improve performance on the next game.
