Well that's it 2018 done and dusted and what a way to end it!!
Struggling to put into words how happy I am after today's performance and result! Brilliant from kick off throughout. Some great sequences of play throughout and great to see a team togetherness throughout the game also!
I can go on all day about all the little things that I noticed in the game that impressed me, The 3 things that stood out to me today are as follows:
1- The attitude towards each other and the game
2- When conceding all 3 defenders went to Connor to apologise for sloppy play and to get the ball out the net to start again!
3- Taking exactly what we did in training into the game to massive effect and being confident to do so.
Some great examples of this in some of the finishes today absolute top class!! Well done to Luke bagging 5 & Oli bagging 2 today! Hopefully we can take this new found confidence into 2019 and start strong!
Just want to say Thank you to all parents and players for the support over the last 5/6 months. I know its been a tough few months but I kept saying we'd get there and today was proof its coming. Without your ongoing support and commitment it wouldn't of been possible so THANK YOU!
