Our first league win may look close when the score is consulted, however in truth the scoreline should have been much greater in our favour.

A lack of composure saw us concede early to go behind. However we played the much better football and should have been level when Zac sprung forward only to fire over. We drew level after a headed goal from Kinger who directed Mikeys punt over their goalkeeper.

Level at half time, however we all knew if we just kept doing what we had been then goals would come. The next one was from a player whose glory days were behind him. The right boot was cocked and unleashed to put us 2-1 up. Crapper would later that week break his ankle. However there is a positive, we made £30 out of him…Bonus….

The third goal was a cracker, a nod down from Mikey to Liam, who sprayed the ball out to Kinger. Kinger dropped the shoulder gained a yard and whipped a wicked cross in. Ellement made no doubt 3-1.

Foley came on and got right up there noses, after which we stopped doing the good things. They pulled a goal back but the game was won.

MOM – Crapper - Ran hard and at one stage seemed everywhere, well taken goal.
