Kidderminster Lions U11 Cu 0 vs 3 P S Olympic U11 South

Firstly, what a fantastic effort from all the boys. The weather was some of the harshest we've faced, and while there were a few grumbles, they all stepped up and gave everything.

The first half went by pretty quickly, with both teams cancelling each other out. Positionally, we were excellent, never looking troubled but not really having any clear chances.

Second half, we made a slight change, and the boys were ruthless, caving out multiple chances and keeping it tight at the back. We were unlucky not to take the lead before we did, with their keeper pulling off some wonderful saves. We kept attacking and got a deserved goal. Ethan finding some good space, dropping the shoulder and hitting it through the keeper. We spoke about following up at training, so it was great to see Thomas popping up to make sure it was definitely over the line. I've given the goal to both of the boys as both deserve credit.

The second goal was one of the best team goals we've scored. Multiple passes, taking the defenders away, then a beautiful curling shot into the top corner. Third goal was a bit more route one, but shows we can mix it up.

We kept going till the whistle, could have had a few more but in the end we were comfortable winners. Well done again lads!
