P S Olympic U11 South 0 vs 2 Dudley Town U11 North

If we could bottle up a performance it would be this one. The effort the boys put in was unreal, from start to final whistle they gave everything. Not just the running but the desire to win the ball back, not lose first and second balls and create space around and in front of Dudley Town.

While they bunched, we spread, always having options. That final ball just didn't come off but we persevered and were unlucky to not have a few goals to show for it.

This is what we've been talking about in training, making sure its our ball, we put the tackles in and play with our heads up.

We spoke at the start that the result was not the most important thing today, with 8 and no subs it's about the character they showed and we definitely saw that. We've been more upset as a coaching group when results match the effort, we had no concerns today.

We are so close to this clicking into place, just at the right time. We're really looking forward for the final push, if we give what we gave today we'll enjoy it.
