Ouston Cherry Tree won their first ever league title in winning 3-0 at closest rivals Waldridge Park and clinching the DDSL first division in the process.
Ouston probably edged the chances in a fairly even first half but it was 0-0 at half time with Ouston knowing avoiding defeat would clinch them the title.
The Cherry Tree, cheered on by a large crowd flew out of the traps second half, and were 2 goals up by the 49th minute.
Josh Scott slid in Micky Ross' ball across the box at the back post inside the first 60 seconds of the half, before Chad Brennan was felled in the box and Ouston top scorer Andrew Clarkson calmly slotted home the penalty.
The Ouston defence and midfield worked excellently to nullify anything Waldridge threw at them, laying the platform for the forward players to seal the win.
They did so on 75 minutes, when Chad Brennan rose to beat the keeper to head home from substitute Reece Hutchinson's corner.
An excellent display to cap off an excellent league season for the Cherry.
