Despite a close first half, a composed and lethal second half period of counter-attacking football from The Wizard’s Sleeves (and in particular Griffiths, who got 4 goals) allowed the reigning Champions to extend their unbeaten run to 3 games as they saw off Asamoah Gyan’s Dancing All Stars 6-3:

0-1: Kieran (a well-worked team move down the left saw Crozier set up Kieran for a tap-in)

1-1: Griffiths (Spence was completely unmarked, and after Griffin saved his first shot, Griffiths slapped away the rebound)

2-1: Griffiths (put away Neil’s rebounding cross with a left-footed shot)

2-2: Luke (stabbed home a loose ball on the counter-attack)

3-2: Phil (SuBo set him free from half-way and Phil sent a low shot into the bottom-right corner)

Half Time

4-2: Griffiths (a hard shot that Griffin could only palm into the net)

5-2: SuBo (Rowan brought the ball out, laid it into the path of Brett who rolled it wide to SuBo to place in off the post)

6-2: Griffiths (unmarked on the edge of the area and smashed the ball over the exposed and already-diving Griffin)

6-3: Patto (Sicky played in Patto who half-volleyed under Spence and Rowan)

Men of the Match were Rowan (who began several moves by bringing out the ball and didn’t spill a thing all game) and Kieran (who made some good runs and finished off a tidy team goal).
