NW Phantoms 1 vs 2 Hart

A blustery and overcast Sat morning for this silent friendly against

Hart Sharks on a bumpy pitch.

Hart sharks are a very physical team that play a rather direct game.

The back four of Hart Sharks were bigger than any of our players and

strong/quick too.

An energetic start from both teams with little to show for the

endeavour. Eventually Phantoms got the breakthrough. A great bit of

switch play, followed by a really clever ball between CB and FB for

our wide man to be in 1 on 1 with keeper and finishing well. A really

impressive team goal. The lead didn't last long, a lack of pressure

from our forwards allowed their FB to run and shoot from miles out and

score an outrageous goal. In about 38th minute of the first half

Sharks scored a second goal. There was no danger, but unfortunately a

mistake led to a simple tap in. 2-1 half time.

Second half was perhaps 35 minutes to forgot. Little quality

throughout as we seemed to get sucked into a hoofing competition. Hart

missed a sitter and Phantoms had a really good chance at the end..1-2

final score.
