Nuneaton Borough 0 vs 4 Ingles U14 Red MJPL

Score line does not reflect the performance today. First half we battled and competed well with Ingles. Very frustrating that a couple of missed tackles provided Ingles with an opening goal. Coming in at half time 1-0 down we still felt we created enough chances to get back into the game and the formation was working as Ingles created no real goal scoring chances and were relying on long range efforts to trouble our goal.

Two quick goals at the start of the second half from Ingles put the game to bed, Joe made a cracking save from the penalty, but Ingles were first to the follow up. As the half went on, we lost our rhythm, and our possession play went out of the window. A late goal from Ingles was the final nail in the coffin.

Man of the match this week was Kalen, we gave him some specific instructions at the start of the game, and he followed them to the letter. He put another hard-working performance, winning tackles and pressing play across the midfield and his communication is getting better by the game. A real captains performance.
