Hood FC 2 vs 2 NobleLads XI

After a tough match last night the NobleLads XI came away with a confidence boosting win. The match ended at a 2-2 draw with the penalties solidifying the win at 8-7. Throughout the 80 minutes of the game, both the defence and offence played in perfect harmony, this allowed for us to score 2 beautifully crafted goals, and in turn only concede 2 very lucky goals by the other team.

Sean Roche, despite tearing the ligaments in his ankle only a few weeks ago whilst fighting a bull shark on holiday, played through his injury and started off the scoring for the boys in white. Only moments later was the wonder goal scored by Tobias White. His debut goal was slotted perfectly past the keeper from 40 yards out side the box, for a moment the NobleLads thought as if they had Elneny on their side.

This game was predominantly an attacking one from both sides and therefore we cannot forget the wonders that the defence bestowed during the game. Alex Lipstick, our MOTM put in a very solid shift in defence, keeping the ball out of the net with two very solid slide tackles, on of them managing to take Hood FC star forward out of the game, whether the forward was emotionally scarred from the tackle or injured is still to be decided, but he was quick to leave the pitch after it occured.

The penalties were very solid from the boys with Tobias White scoring the winning penalty and Pedro Barroso saving Hood FC's penalty to secure us the cup

The boys are on a high after this win and are looking sharp and steady for our next match.
