Noble Girls Football Academy faced a challenging encounter against Zohar Girls FA at Ngwo Park Uwani on 8 November 2024, with the match concluding in a disappointing 2-6 defeat for the Noble Girls. It's the maiden edition of First Lady's Female Championship where Noble Girls is representing Enugu East LGA and Zohar Girls representing Enugu South LGA. The match kicked off at 12:00pm, and despite a spirited effort, the Noble Girls were unable to contain their opponents, who showcased their attacking prowess throughout the game.

In a 4-3-3 formation, the Noble Girls lined up with a solid defensive unit comprising four defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards. The backline was tasked with providing stability and support, while the midfield trio aimed to control the tempo of the game and link play effectively. Up front, the attacking trio was expected to exploit any defensive lapses from Zohar Girls FA, creating scoring opportunities and applying pressure on the opposition's defence.

The match saw no substitutes listed, indicating that the starting eleven would need to endure the full 90 minutes to turn the tide against a formidable Zohar side.

As the first half unfolded, Zohar Girls FA quickly asserted their dominance, with their attacking players finding space and creating chances. They scored their first goal early but was later equalized by Favour Joel of Noble Girls after a one touch hit from a crossing by Success Ananti. The opponent team saw the back of Noble net twice again shortly after making the score line 1 - 3 in favour of Zohr Girls. Success Ananti converted a free kick set piece directly into the net with a solid stunning shot, this closed the scoreline margin. The Noble Girls struggled to cope with the relentless pressure, and it was evident that Zohar's tactical approach was paying dividends. The first half concluded with the scoreline reflecting Zohar's superiority, leading 3-2 at the break.

The second half saw Noble Girls Football Academy attempting to regroup and find their rhythm. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to significantly alter the course of the match. Zohar Girls FA's clinical finishing and cohesive play proved too much for the Noble Girls side, who were left to reflect on a challenging day at the office.

Success Ananti was recognised for her standout performance, Oluchi Chimeh, Sochima and Oluchi (PaJay) were also remarkable despite the team's struggles. Their contributions were a silver lining in an otherwise difficult encounter for the Noble Girls, who will need to regroup and learn from this experience as they look ahead to future fixtures.
