YOUNES ESSADIKI only took two minutes to open his goal account at Rovers and the Moroccan player, who, before coming to this country, had appeared in the Botola Pro 1, the Moroccan top league, for Raja Beni Mellal, then added a second later in the game.

Also joining him in the starting lineup was another former top league player YOUCEF NARBESLA- he played in the Algerian Ligue 1 Pro for ASO Chlef - who immediately settled successfully into an impressive centre back pairing with Kyle McPhee. (See pic 2 above).

AKRAM BYFANZI, making his 50th. appearance for the team, more than anyone else, JOE MARTIN and NABIL AL HUMAIDI also scored in what was, however, a disappointing performance against weak opponents.

Robbie Greenshields was called on only once to make an excellent save; the Back 4 was rarely troubled and strolled through the game; the midfield, with the exception of the highly effective Johnny Greenwood, tended to take too many unnecessary touches, gave the ball away too often mainly by being over elaborate when more straightforward and direct play at a higher tempo would have created more goal chances and probably got the team closer to a double figure final score. Better finishing would also have achieved this.

Overall - sometimes you can have too much possession and time on the ball!
