A second successive clean sheet and three outstanding goals - two from JEBRIL ABDULRAHMAN and a third from MOHAMMED ALKHABEER - capped what was arguably the team’s best performance of the season, certainly the most wholehearted ninety minutes so far.

Great high pressing from Abdulrahman and Israel Onwubiko created a chance for Jebril who finished brilliantly to open the scoring but the remainder of the first half was fairly even with Robbie Greenshields called on to make a couple of excellent stops in spite of the fact that the Back 3 - Abdul Alsahar, Johnny Greenwood and Nabil Al Humaidi - was performing very well.

The midfield, anchored by the very impressive Ezekiel Okoro, grafted hard and was productive on the ball, with Akram Byfanzi and Rameez Javed very effective, while the wide players - Alkhabeer and Harald Martins, who was almost playing as a right back in the second half, put in tireless shifts, and the pacey front two were a constant threat to a strong and experienced opposition central defence. Abdulrahman’s persistence saw him knock the ball across the six yard box for Israel Onwubiko to set up Alkhabeer to smash his shot high into the net then, before the end, Abdulrahman, set up by Israel Onwubiko, expertly netted his fifth goal in his three games (see video above). Good to get game time for Boshara Ibrahim, Ibrahim Alaziz, Ahmed Alahaj and Eliasz Zalewski making his second appearance outfield.

A great hard working and well organised display overall - and ten out of ten for attitude!
