Into a strong wind in the first half, excellent defending from the Back 3 of Amandu Bamba, Michael Semirimu and veteran ex Premiership player Kevin McDonald - along with tidy saves from the goalkeeper and busy midfield defending in front of them, kept the score at 0-0 at the interval.

After the break, with Cisse on up front, LAJU ACHOMERE opened the scoring with a great run and drive, then the same player was involved again, assisting OUSMANE CISSÉ to score with a powerful strike. He was involved in a great build up, from which PAUL SWEENEY netted a third, assisted by Andrea Ekuase.

Eliasz Zalewski made an outstanding double save late on to keep a deserved clean sheet and the central midfield of Julien Kouame, Johnny Greenwood and Kai Sylla impressed throughout, while Cissé made an excellent debut.
