Bad preparation due to the traffic and late kick off time, too many important players missing, too much tinkering by the manager, ref didn't leave the centre circle and didn't give obvious fouls, excuses out the way we were poor, worst we've played since pre season and were well beaten by a side much more comfortable on astro.

On a positive note woody kept up his incredible run of scoring in every game, Reece Hughes made his come back from an ankle injury, Saxon made his first appearance of the season, we did play some decent pass n move football at times, we hit the woodwork a couple of times and their keeper denied 2 certain goals late on, we didn't let our heads drop and showed great fighting spirit even tho it was a lost cause, we can all learn more from a defeat and hopefully put things right at training next weekend is now a massive game as we welcome unbeaten royton to agecroft, a win is essential if we want to keep in touch with the top end of the table. Heads up lads we all have off days
