Kings extended their lead at the top of the table to four points after a narrow victory against Mary Dendy in an entertaining match at Woodford Rec. Dendy took the lead in the first half through Chris Scarle and looked good value for their lead but player manager Paul Cronshaw conceded a penalty soon after the re-start which Tom Hopkins despatched to level the match. Alasdair Breed then gave the home side the lead finishing off a swift counter attack . Dendy brought on top scorer Matt Morris in attempt to get back in the game and the mecurial striker soon obliged  with another penalty to tie the game at 2-2. Both sides created chances with Josh Roberts for Kings and Simon Lee for Dendy battling to control the midfield but it was Kings who got the breakthrough five minutes from time, Dave Brindle  scoring with a great turn and finish.
