A prime example of a performance of two halves today.

A very positive first half with a lot of lovely proper barkhill footy played, a couple of lovely goals and numerous great chances created. I personally thought we were ??deserving of our half time lead and with a little more composure at times, we could have been leading by more.

But as I said at the end, I was never really convinced the boys believed the win was there for the taking (which it deffo was). And that was shown in the second half.

A real head scratcher tbh.

All the boys know we will only ask them to give ?? and play proper footy. And save for some notable exceptions, I don't think all of them could have looked me in the eye after that second half and told me they'd done just that. That's the thing that upsets me. It would be greatly appreciated if you could explain this to your son.

But I very rarely find that with our boys, so I'm putting down as a blip. There were also things me and Al could have probably done differently, so we will learn from it to, as always.

So we concentrate on the positives of today, learn from that second half and put it right at training Wednesday and the game Saturday ????
