Stanfield Junior U15 5 vs 1 Marshalls Barkhill

I personally thought this morning typified the last 5 years of Barkhill in 80 minutes.

Some lovely, brave footy at times, often starting from Eddie (particularly in the last 20 mins of the first half), or the thought to play lovely footy (even though it didn't always come off). This was typified by a 4 pass move from our own area and we were in their box within 10 seconds, and the ball didn't leave the ground once. Absolute joy to watch ??

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I dont see ANY team in our division playing such beautiful, brave footy like we do when we click. Some of you may disagree, but I don't think I'm being biased or naive in that belief.

But then our age old 3 pronged achiles heal struck when they scored. Lack of belief, lack of being to cope with the physical side and zero communication.

It is SO frustrating and me and Al are running out of ideas about what we can do to fix it. But we have to (and we will) find a way, as we crack that and this team will fly.

So as always, positives to take from the game. But as always, the same things to work on again.
