Prescot Cables 3 vs 3 Marshall's Barkhill

MATCH REPORT BY CAPTAIN NIHAL

After weeks of enjoying summer league matches, Marshalls Barkhill and Prescot Cables are in the 3rd and 4th place playoffs.

Cables are off to an early lead, as their number 9 had a good run and caught our defence off guard scoring an early goal (1-0 Prescot).

Soon after, a short corner from Theo to Seth produced an amazing goal (1-1).

A short while later, a scramble in the box ended up in another goal (2-1 Prescot).

Just before half time Jordan equalised ??

Half time (2-2)

After some well matched play between the two teams, a great goal from Harry put Marshalls ahead (3-2 Marshalls). We couldn't hold off Prescot's attacking play and they soon equalised (3-3).

Full time (3-3)

Penalties: Marshalls first, Patrick scored. Prescot next and their striker shot just high. Harry next, he scored. Prescot then scored. Elijah then scored his penalty. Eddie then saved Prescot's next penalty . Theo's penalty was then sadly saved. Cables then scored their next penalty. Jordan then scored the final penalty, 4-2 on penalties to Marshalls Barkhill.

Barkhill win 3rd place ????
