Marshall's Barkhill 0 vs 4 Kingsley United U10 Futsal

MATCH REPORT BY CAPTAIN NIHAL

After a challenging midweek friendly, the Barkhill boys were at it again, in our orange kit (my favourite).

The opposition came out strong, scoring two goals in the first two minutes - 2-0 to Kingsley.

Shortly after the second goal, Harry and our goalie Eddie knocked heads, delaying the game for five minutes whilst they recovered. We used this time wisely and Ben Robbo called us together to encourage the team to keep our heads up. Unfortunately, this didn't have the affect we had hoped for, hence conceding two further goals before halftime.

HT: 4-0 down

After a firm talk from coach Dave at half time, we went back out onto the pitch with a lot more energy and we managed to keep the score at four-nil. Despite some promising chances we were unable to bag a goal, due in part to the Kingsley goalie's strong performance.

Although a few of us were achy due to knocks and injuries, we were still proud of ourselves, especially for our second half performance.

Man of the match went to Harry and Elijah for Harry's great performance in midfield and Elijah's chances.

Joe, Jacob and Anthony were unfortunate not to score as well.

Fingers crossed for the next match that we will get the result our performance deserves.
