Lovely fresh morning for a game of football. Barkhill eyeing top spot in the league.

Barkhill took control straight away some nice football through the middle and on both wings. Most of the game being played in Heron's half. James had a goal wrongly ruled out for mistaken identity with the goalie wearing orange but we took it in our stride and two quick goals a long range stroke from Seth and a close range effort from Ben C gave us a deserved lead.

More good chances followed but we couldn't convert hitting the post on the way. Game went scrappy for 10 mins before Patrick wearing the armband struck a cracker from distance into the roof of the net, 3-0 and back in control. H/T 3-0.

Second half started like the first in total control we found more space in the middle. Jacob next up with a close range strike after lovely play around the box then Elijah with a sniffers goal after the keeper parried. Theo then scored from a narrow angle from the left. Jacob got his 2nd soon after then Joe sniffing from the right followed up on Theo's effort off the post. Ben R so close to a 9th hitting the bar and the line.

Overall, a fantastic performance, great football, total control and good battling when we lost it. I would pay to watch this well done boys. Up the Barkhill.
