Me and Al were very pleased this morning. We asked for a reaction to Thursday and we got it ????

100% effort from every single boy, some absolutely lovely Barkhill footy played and some absolute peaches of goals ????

But more importantly, a lot of smiles on faces all round ??

Clearly the opposition weren't great (although their keeper made some worldy saves to keep the score under 20), but me and Al were very impressed by our boys attitude.

No greediness or selfishness crept in (which is not easy when you're clearly the superior team), and Al also made a good point...very understated celebrations for all our goals. We've been in their shoes and it's not nice.

So whilst we'll clearly face stronger challenges this season, and we will definitely have some bumps in the road and tough times, I personally think we all deserve to take that today and enjoy it.
