Macroom 0 vs 2 Mallow United U-18

With 12 players available on a bank holiday Monday these Mallow lads went down for a match for fun and to beat the only team to take league pts off them .It was incredibly hot and the pace of the game had to be managed especially with one sub .It was a slow start Macroom hit the bar and Thomas pulled off a save early before Mallow got going .Killian would take a shot from the half way and Sam Mangan following up would get his 2nd goal in 2 games .Killian would have a free kick fantastically saved by the Macroom keeper before a great piece of defending from Dave Relihan kept Mallow 1 up , Kevin Omorro beat two players on the by line and just shot over and Seon would hit the post and have a shot saved .Into the 2nd half the game was won when Dave to Jack and Jack got the assist of the season back heel rolling the ball to Seon 2-0 .19 Wins from 20 league games is simply unreal consistency. Michael Fitzpatrick was man of the match and the team appreciated Fionn Chopper Woods for playing while sick . Two more league matches to go , With the league won everyone is watching to see Jack and Seon on 17 goals and 16 goals respectively going for Top goal scorer but still being so intelligent that they put the team result 1st and assist each other.
