Carrigaline 1 vs 3 Mallow United U-18

Jordan was put behind early from Gram and finished great 1-0 , one minute on the clock , Mallow started out of the blocks on fire .It would be 2-0 on seven minutes when Grams shot was blocked and Jordan again smashing home .Seon and Charlie would have two chances each to put the game to bed but the Carrigaline keeper was in fine form .David Relihan hit the post too from range , Carrigaline fought for every ball on their home patch and never gave up winning 50/50 challenges and coming back into the game 2-1 Just before half time. The second half was a tight affair with defence on top , Seon and Dean would go close , Trevor on Gram where winning their battle in midfield but a third man was getting free , Charlie would come into the central position and smash in a 3rd late on with Dominic and Jack putting the keeper under pressure. Jordan and Trevor where immense for team , everyone is happy for Jordan back amongst the goals.One point off the top with three games in hand .Next week it's the last 16 of the Cup away to Leeds .
