Goals were scored with such ease it is not really worth writing about them.

A couple stood out, notably Shane McNamara and Perry Price both struck left foot curlers into the far corner in the first half from over twenty yards - McNamara's into bottom left and Price's into top binz.

Full-backs were basically deployed as wingers after the first 5 minutes playing an adapted 2-5-3.

Chad King subbed off after 30 minutes with Tre Thompson waiting until half time to replace him.

Shaz Anwar, McNamara and Sam Bader all subbed off without replacements with vegas ending the game with a 3-3-1 and still scoring goals.

Frankly, it actually was men against boys and let's not get distracted by this.

SYFC next week will be really up for putting us out the cup with the hope of salvaging a cup final for themselves after a relatively poor season for a decent side. We have trailed in both games we've played against them this season and managed to come back to win. But, you cannot reply on coming back after slow starts forever...

You all have jobs to complete as individuals and as a team next Tuesday.

There will be no frustration, no negativity, only plenty of calm resilience with a second semi-final at stake against opposition teams that Vegas will feel confident against. So a cup final basically on the line.
