Magical Vegas FC 4 vs 0 Crown & Manor

Magical Vegas played your stereotypical game of two-halves in a emotional premier league game against a talented Crown & Manor last week.

Coming out knowing their opponents had lost seven out of seven negatively charged the vegas boys in an insipid first half display that lacked cohesion and a game plan that looked rushed at best.

Returning goalkeeper, Daniel Bank made a number of solid saves that kept the score line at nil-nil going into the interval.

Perry Price stepped off the bench for Patrick Moore Jones with Erol Resat moving back into midfield and the balance of the side looked better. With Resat adding energy and Price a threat in behind Vegas started to create chances.

They finally found the breakthrough when Kadeem Gutzmore scored after following up Price's shot. Soon after a good high press lead to their opponents being rushed in possession, a wayward pass found captain Jacob Bond 30 yards out from goal. He sidestepped 2 challenges before firing an unstoppable low shot from 18 yards to make the game more comfortable.

Now Crown & Manor, as Vegas knew, began to lose their willingness to play and their confidence drained away. Price added a third, his 12th in 8 games, from another Bond assist, his 11th in 7 games.

Gutzmore rounded off the victory with his second of the game after a inch perfect cross field ball from Price. The scoreline detracted from an un-inspiring performance but got the job done in a time of year when 3 points is all that matters.
