LS27 F.C U13 Black 2 vs 5 Rothwell Juniors U13 Black

The LS27 blacks squad welcomed Top of the league Rothwell this weekend in what turned out to be an outstanding morning of football

The pinks began brightly creating a couple of opportunities but 4 quick goals for the opposition left them with a mountain to climb despite playing some great football

Just before half time Bobby played a fine ball through which Charlie put away to cut the deficit at the half time break

In the second half the pinks played arguably there best football of the season and got another back with bobby finishing from a sublime lass from Jacob.

With the pinks piling on the pressure, rothwell were awarded a penalty which was superbly saved from Harley to keep the pinks in the game. The pinks battled and pressed creating some great chances but were unable to put them away and were eventually caught on the break and rothwell put them game beyond the pinks

An outstanding effort, especially the second half considering we were playing a new formation and players playing new positions

Many positives to take from the game and we look forward to next week!
