LS27 F.C U12 Black 1 vs 2 Pudsey Juniors U12 Loiners

The black squad welcomed Pudsey on a sunny morning this week following another week off due to the weather

The away fixture earlier in the season was a close fought game and this was no different

After weathering the storm in the opening 20 minutes, Bobby smashed a fantastic free kick into the bottom right corner around the wall to give the pinks a 1-0 lead. Alex then looked to have scored a great goal, but it was ruled not to have crossed the goal line right on half time.

The second half began similar to the first with a top class defensive effort from the alex and evie to keep the pinks in the lead, although the pinks did quite a few good chances to wrap the game up but it wasn’t to be.

A late Sin bin meant the 8 on the field had to work that bit harder and were caught out with 2 very late goals which saw Pudsey take the points.

A great game for the neutral and another good effort. We go again next week!

Players of the match was Alex and Evie, who again were outstanding in defence and Alex was unlucky not to get a rare goal
