LS27 blacks and Whinmoor in mid week goal fest!

The black squad travelled to whinmoor on Tuesday evening for their final league game of a very positive season

Playing up hill in the first half in windy conditions, the pinks started very slowly and struggled to keep possession and allowing Whinmoor to have most of the ball in the pinks half creating several good chances.

The pinks managed to score against the run of play however when Brajan played a ball across the face of goal which was turned in from a Whinmoor defender

A second goal soon followed before the break with a goal of the season contender from jack who took on 3 defenders before smashing the ball passed the keeper

The pinks started the second half much better but conceded a very sloppy goal

The pinks didn’t let their heads go down and kept battling and claimed a great goal from Kostas after Lucas teed him up brilliantly

2 quickfire goals from Whinmoor promised a great final 15 minutes of football and the pinks arguably produced some of their best passing football of the season, with Usman moving from defence to midfield to score a great team goal

Usman was then the provider, playing a superb ball across the pitch to bobby, who made no mistake with the finish

Player of the match was Kostas who waited patiently on the sideline before coming on and changing the game
