Whinmoor Juniors U11 1 vs 3 LS27 F.C U11 Black

The pinks travelled to whinmoor on a blustery Sunday morning with a full squad to choose from

With the wind in their favour for the first half the pinks started brilliantly with attack after attack going close several times and keeping possession well in be opponents half

The little success the home team had was dealt with brilliantly by the newly formed back 3 of Alex, Oliver B and Evie, with the new formation allowing jack to get forward and getting involved in more attacks.

William and Usman had a very bright start, feeding the front 2 of Mackenzie and Lucas.

Brajan and Jacob replaced with front 2 which paid off immediately with William assisting brajan for a brilliant chipped finish over the keeper. Soon after, Jacob played brajan through on goal but he still had plenty to do. A great turn and cool finish gave the pinks a good cushion going in to the second half.

With the wind against them in the second half, whinmoor came on very strong and a string of saves from harley kept them out as well as some great last ditch tackles from the ever improving Alex

With whinmoor on the attack, the pinks were able to go on the counter and with a bit of a goal mouth scramble, Lucas was able to set Mackenzie up for the pinks final goal

Whinmoor managed to get 1 back but the pinks saw the game out for a positive result

Player of the match was Brajan who had a very eventful morning to say the least! Special mention to Alex as well as the rest of the team for a brilliant performance!
