Battling blacks brave Baltic conditions

The blacks squad travelled to farsley on a horrendous Sunday morning against a very capable Farsley Celtics team

The game started with Farsley on the front foot and the blacks soaked up and dealt with the pressure very well while also looking dangerous on the counter attack.

The conditions worsened still in the second half but the blacks kept battling for every ball and managed to scramble a goal from Kostas who finished for his first goal. Well done!

Despite being on top for most of the half, Farsley managed to get a goal from a goal mouth scramble going into the final 10 minutes.

The blacks continued to dominate despite the weather and pitch and were awarded a late penalty for handball. Bobby stepped up and even though he could hardly move with the cold he managed to smash it past the keeper

A tremendous team effort from every single player today, they did themselves and their coaches extremely proud and also well done to the parents for braving the cold too!
