Sunday 5th November at Beaumont

A 9:30 kick off at home with bright sun shining today for the derby with London Colney Youth.

The first half saw the Colts under constant pressure. The visitors had the majority of the possession and despite some great saves from Jonas the pressure and possession finally resulted in a couple of goals. A quick fire double on the 15th and 17th minute saw the LCY Lions take the lead before halftime. Time for the Colts to wake up and show some fight against a strong and well drilled side.

The second half saw much better play from the Colts. They put lots of pressure on the reds and created many chances. Unluckily none of the chances translated to goals. Jonas continued to make great saves.

Watching the Colts in the second half was pleasing as we saw lots more skills and they continued to battle to the end.

Although it was a loss it was against a strong side and it was good to see our boys keep the match competitive and keep creating chances despite it being a bit of an off day. Lots of lessons to learn from but as always we are proud of our boys.
